Thundersnow: a dangerously seductive term derived by meteorologists thats sexy, instills a bit of fear, and replaced the previous term "heavy accumulation" with creative wordplay found in live action children's television series such as Power Rangers.

The meteorologist needed a new angle to portray the storm in a more serious light, something that flowed off the tongue, and there, Thundersnow was born.
