Referee

A referee is simply a snitch. People often say "blow whistle" when a person snitches and referees blow whistles.

I've got to be careful, the referee is coming.

In icehockey, a blind person who stands on the ice and makes decisions about the game.

"Did you see the call that referee just made?"

"Yeah, but I don't think HE did."
