Palestinian rap

A Palestinian's method of nonviolent resistance to the Israeli occupation and oppression; a method of expression especially to relay the frustrations of life in the Palestinians' destroyed homeland. Nearly all of it is in the Arabic language, the language of Palestine. Often a unique mix of traditional Arabic and western styles into a new music style entirely its own, and almost always political and a reflection of the tough life under Israeli occupation. Born from the group DAM, begun in 1999, Palestinian rap has grown and spread, allowing the voices of Palestinians to reach the world and destroy barriers barring them from a better life.

What is this fantastic modern music in Arabic? Why, it must be Palestinian rap.

A Pallesen is a person who is constantly involved in a kerfuffle. She is always in the midst of the action, and she (almost) always knows what's going on. Stores fail at staying open for more than one year, loud, dangerous past midnight, old people in the morning, annoying solicitors trying to sell crap, mall security thinks they're the Clarkstown Police.

Palestine

Palestine ( Arabic: فلسطين‎ ; English: Palestine ; Greek: Παλαιστίνη, Palaistinē; Latin: Palaestina; Hebrew: ארץ־ישראל) is an ancient land that spanned the area between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, and various adjoining lands; predating Hebrew and Biblical times.

Unfortunately, in 1948 it was partitioned to unite the so-called “God’s Chosen People”. Even though the indigenous Semitic-Arab inhabitants can trace their history to Biblical/Hebrew times and prior.

Palestine will be reborn and free.
