It is common in memes and posts that stereotype indians as dirty, sexually perverted, poor and ignorant, often highlighting the open defecation issue in that country. The term originated from a meme on 4chan's /int/ board. It is also meant to resemble a stereotypical indian name, considering there are many male names in that country that end with "jeet" such as "Manjeet" and "Sanjeet".
