The true definition of Nim Rod is "A great hunter", but after Bugs Bunny called Elmer Fudd this name for so long in Looney Tunes cartoons, it took on a new meaning....A moron or clutz.

A game office coffee drinkers play where they leave less than a mug's worth in the pot to avoid having to make the next pot. Much like the board game "Nim", the loser is the one who takes the last bit of coffee and must make the next pot.
I needed my caffeine fix, but there was a quarter of a cup left in the office coffee pot. I guess I lost this round of Coffee Nim, and have to make the next pot.
