One of the most exciting ice-hockey forwards to watch - Alexander Mogilny. This Siberian born sniper was one of the first Soviet ice-hockey players to defect to the NHL. He has won numerous awards, including Lady Byng Trophy (NHL 2002-2003 season, given to most 'gentlemany' player) and Best Forward in 1988 World Junior Hockey Championships. He defected with representatives of Buffalo Sabres NHL club after he and his Soviet team won the championship.

Played on one of the best lines ever in ice-hockey - with center Sergei Fedorov and winger Pavel Bure.

Played for Buffalo Sabres, Vancouver Canucks, New Jersey Devils and is currently playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Leading Toronto Maple Leafs scorer for the 2002-2003 season. Leading play-offs scorer for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Had 100% scoring percentage (3 shots on goal - 3 goals) in his first play-off game of the 2002-2003 season against Philadelphia Flyers.

Possesses a lethal combination of swift movies and marksmanship. Has a dangerous, and very precise wrist shot. Brilliant playmaker. Has the ability to take and make a pass from anywhere, at any time.
- Did you see the Sabres game last night?
- Yeah, Alexander The Great faked a wrap-around and scored the goal from behind the net by deflecting it off the goal-keeper!

Mogit

Miserable Old Git, from Solace of the Road by Siobhan Dowd, 2011. Boring, style-less, ordinary people who are unaware of unpleasant realities or the impact of their behavior on others. They don't understand people may not see the world the same way they do. Normals.

moin

Moin is a Frisian language greeting from East Frisia, the eastern Netherlands, North Frisia and Flensburg, meaning hello.
The word derives from the Frisian word mooi, meaning beautiful. The first moin is different from the second, it is mooi (frisian=good, beautiful), the second moin, also morn means "day" in Frisian language. Similar forms in Low saxon are mooien Dag, mooien Abend, mooien Mor(g)en. Moin is semantically equivalent to the low saxon greeting Tag. and replaced it in many areas Therefore, Moin can be used 24 hours a day. The duplication Moin Moin is used as emphasis and for a more polite form as well. In Southern Jutish, Moin is used for hello and good bye, but Moin Moin is solely used for good bye. Moin moin literally means "(Have a) good day".
Normally "Moin" is the same as "good". If you meet a person ask "good? (Moin!)" and the answer is "good!good! (Moin! Moin!)"
People in more southern parts of Germany often mistakenly assume that Moin is a short from of Morgen (meaning "morning") and should be used like "good morning".
