Magical gifts begin passed down each generation in the family Madrigal, generational trauma begin passed down as well. Our protagonist Mirabel doesn't get a gift like everyone else causing her to feel left out.
Camilo has the gift to shape shift into other people. His parents Pepa and Felix Madrigal, his siblings Dolores and Antonio Madrigal.
