The act of not showing up to a pre-planned event due to the playing of Call Of Duty or the anual release of a newer version of Call Of Duty/the release of a new Map Pack.

Kid: "Mum, I'm feeling sick today, can I have a day off school?"

Mum: "No way, I saw the commercials saying that roday is the release of the new Call Of Duty, you are going to school today and I'm gonna make you wait until Christmas to get it if you try to pull CoD Syndrome off on me again"

Cod-shot

A practice in which requires a person to attach a fishing hook on the end of a double-barrelled shotgun. The shotgun is to then be dipped into the water and wait for a fish to catch onto the hook. Once caught, the user raises the shotgun out of the water and gives it both barrels. Whilst messy and cruel, the practice is scientifically proven to be the best way to discipline a fish.

Cod strats

when you get more hay bails than you need so that you can trade the wheat with a farmer villager and then trade those three emeralds that you get from that and get a bucket with a cod fish in it. This makes it so that you are guarantied enough iron to make an iron pickaxe in which you need to mine the gold blocks in the bastion to trade with the piglin.

Person 1: I keep needing to reset because I'm not getting enough iron from the iron golem.
