Continental Cuisine

Prime rib with crab sauce, filet mignon with lobster tail and crab sauce, shrimp cocktail, dry martini, possibly abalone? Fancy-in-the-1950s, vaguely American-European food thats generally delicious. Stuff that Frank Sinatra presumably ate.

Also could refer to the stuff thats at a typical hotel breakfast, IE Continental Breakfast. Toast, Jam, Butter, Pastries, sausage patties, honeydew. Stuff that Frank Sinatra presumably ate for breakfast.

I had continental cuisine the other day.
What did you have?
Filet Mignon
Thats not what I would typically call continental cuisine.
It had bearnaise sauce all over it.

typical "bachelor pad" cuisine

"Undignified" or "bare basics" foods like quick-oats mixed with milk and raisins, canned stew/sausages/beans eaten straight out of the can, etc.

Self-sufficient dude: I really appreciate how Tiffany accepts me as I am and is always okay with just the typical "bachelor pad" cuisine that I feed her whenever she comes over... she values my companionship and caring, she realizes that I am always kind and generous in my own way, and she is grateful for any and all help that I give her, and so she doesn't mind my somewhat-cluttered digs or the hard-boiled eggs and cold "reduced for quick sale" sandwiches soaked in whole milk that I typically serve her for snacks.

Find Cuisine

To create a fine meal using random items around the kitchen . This includes never before used spices and the culmination of three different pasta noodles and a can of diced tomates thus creating the pasta stew mess.

Stephanie: "What you cooking there?"
Nadine: "Some randomness with pasta. Kind of like a pasta stew. But messier."
