4 day rule

The 4 day rule is in relation to the birthday dirty pint tradition that all Lads have. The dirty pint must be poured 4 days either side of the birthday in question.
Exceptions:
Your name begins with A.
You have a specific event booked for your birthday that falls outside of the 4 days.
You have an absurd addiction to red onions and Mayo.

Hey Wilson, you know you have to do a dirty pint next weekend?
No, the 4 day rule states that its outside if my birthday and so it is void.

Oh schnap you're correct I am exempt from the 4 day rule and I must in fact have the dirtiest pint of all for attempting to weasel out of it.

EA Catch-up Rule

When you are playing a video game and dominating the other team then suddenly the other team starts making a comeback very easily.

Originates from EA Sports where this phenomenon was first noticed.

I was winning 5-0 on Rocket League until the EA Catch-up Rule kicked in and the other team came back to tie in the final minutes.
