Get the emomug. an emo geek is an emo person who dedicates all of their time into emo fashion, and emo band history, fun facts, and band members. they spend more time researching a band members childhood than they do on their own homework, they dont have many friends besides other emos, and theyre constantly listening to music. emo geeks try to talk about emo stuff allllllllllllllllllllllllll the time, especially with non emo ppl, but they dont call themself emo (or a geek, obviously) because thats #fakealt /SATIRE
do you see ____ over there? he/she/they're an emo geek, dont start a conversation with them or they'll never shut up about "petekey" and they'll try to force you to listen to the used.

not all Emotional people cut themselfs or are sad all the time. there is not only "one" emotion, if there was then Emo would be called the word "sad" or "deppresies" emotions can be (happy, sad, angry) suprisingly 90% of Emos today are happy. so there really is no need to stereotype people because of the way they act. its probrably because there hurt inside. and they're deppresion is building up. and noone like a sad kid. (unless your an asshole) be kind to people!

Get the emomug. I know there are a lot of definitions for emo but most of them suck and make fun of emos. An emo is someone who hates themselves and puts themselves down, they feel more emotion than anyone writing these sucky definitions. They can't control their pain so that makes them feel as though they have to hurt themselves even more. It's like feeling like shit and wanting to get drunk, instead of getting drunk they chose to cut or burn themselves. They think that everyone hates them and they don't deserve to live and a lot of emos will end up killing themselves. Take this from someone who's gone through this before, it's not just a genre of music or something to be made fun of, it's a real thing mostly associated with depression. And It's not that they don't feel emotion, they feel too much emotion and it overwhelms them.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a mullet, it can be the choppy hairstyle, a short haircut, or just long and a little teased/messy. It can be any color.
-the music
most typical would be the rock, metal, screamo, hard rock, and alternative rock genres.
ALTHOUGH(!!!) Emo is not defined, doesn't have a prototype, or a specific look/behavior. You are simply you!
You DON'T HAVE to look like this or be like this to be emo. You might be classified or labeled as emo even if you aren't, simply because you fit into the category.
THIS isn't just a stereotype. There is no reason for it to be mocked.
