Nobody is telling you that you HAVE to date trans people, but claiming you're not straight if you like trans people is transphobic.

As opposed to being comfortable in your sexuality, this word is used showing insecurity. Straight men who use it need reminding that having a genital preference is not a bad thing, but denying a trans girl’s womanhood is.
