Fair weather friend

A friend who only calls, texts, or hangs out when it suits them on their terms. They require everyone to be flexible around their last minute plans. In most cases, this friend will then cancel the plans all together because it doesn’t suit them- citing a last minute “pop up.” Never returns calls, texts, or face times.

Tyler’s friends genuinely enjoy his company. But as a fair weather friend- Tyler rarely actually follows through on returning calls, texts, face-times, or lunch dates. Usually he will claim some last minute “thing” was going on- but everyone knows its because he never wanted to hang out in the first place.

Friend 1: "Do you guys want snacks for the party?"
Lactose Intolerant Friend: "As long as there is no cheese. Remeber I'm lactose intolerant?"
Friend 2: "Wow, you're definitely the lactose intolerant friend."
