Traffeteria

A congested, noisy parking lot, perhaps at a highway service area or a shopping center where multiple cars are facing delays while attempting maneuver into spaces.

The Maryland House service area parking lot off of Interstate 95 on Friday evening was a busy traffeteria -- with the minivans double parking in the loading zone and the tow truck working on repairing a disabled vehicle it took me a while to park my car and go inside.

3. A cool person

If you are ever in a tree, relaxing and then you fall off, you are a treefaller.

If you are getting out of a tree and then you get down through a branch and it breaks and you fall.

Traffage

Gravel, bits of mirror, dolls heads, debris that collects at junctions on the bits of road that is missed by the wheels of the the traffic. Often in a triangular shape.

There is a lot of traffage on the last exit from that roundabout.

Traffic circle

A roadway intersection where the roads don't directly cross (like at a stoplight) but enter/exit on a circular road. When well designed it is very superior to a normal intersection, but prone to confuse people who learned to drive in a place without them. Poorly designed or outdated they are a recipe for disaster.

If you live in New Jersey, but don't know what a traffic circle is, you're living an unbelievably sheltered life.

When correctly designed, you should always yield when entering the circle, but never when in the circle.

Traffic Prophet

A Person who, while driving, prides him or herself in predicting the actions of the driver behind or in-front of them before the driver does it.

DRIVER: Okay he's driving a Buick so that automatically means he's a senior citizen WHICH MEANS he's gonna slow down to at least 10 mph here at this turn because the elderly are as we all know, terrified of taking a turn too fast and running the risk of flipping over their car.

(*the person in the other car does just that*)

DRIVER: I Knew It!
