Kips bay

Neighborhood just below Murray Hill in the lower 30s on the east side of Manhattan. Murray Hill is well known as a reference, Kips Bay was home to Irish Catholic families and businesses in the 50s and 60s and earlier, being gentrified into newer high rise condo buildings through the 70s to today. Below 30 th street on the East side in the 20s was mostly Italians, above 30th was Irish. There was once an el train running down 2nd avenue through the neighborhood.

People in Kips Bay would fall asleep to the sound of an el train each night.

In OB we have a cute lil bay thats kinda gross but noone really cares, the only time anyone wants to come here is Oyster Fest, and we have like four pizza places even though its small

A town where Britney Spears would fit perfect. If you want to buy beer at 14, and get drunk at 12...come here. Y'all and ain't are both words and should be in the dictionary. The parking lot is full of trucks that belong in a monster truck show and at 17, most girls are expectected to be pregnant.

I went to Bay Minette and saw 7 pregnant girls drink cheap beer in front of K-Mart.
