Snowflake

A highly sensitive person who gets easily offended by someone's opinion that is opposite to their own, and might/will even call them out for that in a very angry way. Snowflakes would also try to cancel someone for expressing anything the snowflakes find offensive online, whether the person posting it is right or not. This kind of behavior is similar to snowflakes - the ones that fall from the sky in winter - melting when they fall on one's hand.

Normal person: Monster Jam is stupid
Snowflake: SHUT THE FUCK UP MONSTER JAM IS NOT STUPID!!!

Twitter/X user: *posts a tweet saying that being obese is a choice*
Snowflake: HE'S SOOOOO CANCELLED!!!

old school snowflake

A wanna-be R Lee Ermey-esque soldier who has a very boomer view of the army being weak despite the fact that all they've contributed to was quitting rather admitting that times were changing and adapting, like any soldier should know.

These are the type that are unoriginal in their beliefs and think all the military is infallible but many fail to realize is that they're either those who never served or who have served but unable to reconcile their thoughts with the organization.

A discriminatory term used to insult/categorize a person, with weaker emotional control when compared to others, for their inability to properly control/express their emotions due to easily hurt feelings and/or their ability to trigger an extreme emotional response to an insignificant problem or situation.

"Cindy is such a snowflaker, they threw a tantrum when Bob didn't compliment their hairstyle"

Special Snowflake

A pejorative term for someone who considers themselves in some way more unique or better than the people surrounding them. Comes from the fact that since every snowflake is unique, not one of them is 'especially' so.

Generally used to describe 'woke' people who consider themselves superior, but has come to encompass a broader definition, especially vain narcissists.

A: Napoleon was such a fucking special snowflake.
B: And we love him all the more for it.
