A discriminatory term used to insult/categorize a person, with weaker emotional control when compared to others, for their inability to properly control/express their emotions due to easily hurt feelings and/or their ability to trigger an extreme emotional response to an insignificant problem or situation.

What is is: A person who easily and irrationally gets upset at what other people say or do.

What it isn't: A left wing person, or a person calling out bigotry. There are plenty of conservative snowflakes, political views doesn't come into it.

The owner of the syrup brand decided to remove racist imagery from their packaging. This prompted many snowflakes to throw a tantrum and whinge about "cancel culture".

The 31 year old snowflake was upset because the world wouldn't cater to his every whim.

The snowflake was incredibly upset because the movie had a male character who is in love with another male character, and called for a boycott of the production company.
