a simp is a guy desperately trying to get a womans attention, and he dose so by sucking up to her and showering her in gifts. She gives a shit about him, because she gives just enough attention so he can keep spoiling her, and she just sees him as a way to get gifts/money. Simps are desperate for a girls attention, and they get it with gifts because of their lack in personality.
