He will not tell anyone the reason for his sudden disappearance, but eventually all will be found out - usually through a random social media post where said Simp is tagged in a picture with her. The caption will read something like “she’s my entire world” or “couldn’t imagine life without her” or “one day I’ll give her everything she deserves” when in reality no one really knew they were even dating and the relationship is relatively brand new (they don’t live together, etc).
From the first day of dating his new gf, Ben immediately made her the #1 priority in his life over all things. Somehow he still doesn’t understand how this makes him a Simp.
