They often are seen on Facebook starting sentences with “My best friend in the Navy was Hispanic/Black/Asian/Gay/Bi…” They than proceed to lecture everyone with stories that are 95% bull shit about how their supposed friend “opened their eyes.” A Woke Vet differs from a Bro Vet in that Bro Vets use their service to get a “Thank you” from conservatives whereas Woke Vets use their service to score brownie points among left leaning circles.
