corporate pedophilia

(N.) When big buisnesses in the TV/Movies/Music industry try to get their cosumers aroused to increase sales by making sexy people seem sweet and tender and making them dress up and behave like schoolgirls/boys. Often times, instead of imitation, they'll use actual children.
The Olsen Twins, Hilary Duff, and Britney Spears in schoolgirl outfits! Yeah! Alright! Sexy Corporate Pedophila at it's best! Yee-ha!

corporate jive

The brand of speech that the leaders of the corporate world frequently use in long, useless meetings about having other meetings, especially with regard to project and staff performance. Key works in the corporate jive language include hyphenated adjectives describing people, such as "highly- efficient," "self-starter," "goal-oreinted," and "power-user;" and non-commital descriptions of business performance such as "moderately optimistic," "below projected outlook," and "downtrend."
Despite the downtrend in the economy that has shown our revenues to be below the projected outlook, Vassal Company remains moderately optimistic about performance in the next quarter due to the highly efficient staff we have retained.

corporate ethics

Two words that don't seem to make sense together; large corporations can and often do use unethical means to gain public trust and their precious capital, for example, building big-box shopping malls on environmentally sensitive land where there may be endangered flora and fauna.
The corporate ethics of some of these food producers in Brazil leave a lot to be desired.

New Concord

Small town in Southeastern Ohio. Former home of John Glenn. Everybody forgot who he is. He never comes back. We still praise him. Home to Muskingum College. Another joke. But still a nice place to get drunk in though even though it is a dry town.

This pharse refers to moving up in rank within a particular field or business. If someone "climbs the corporate ladder" to the top, they started out at the bottom (stockboy, mail clerk, etc) and ended up at the top (CEO, CFO, vice pres., etc.)
Tim lived the American Dream. He started out as a desk clerk and climbed the corporate ladder to the top. He is now a CEO in the same field that he had started out in.
