A connoisseur's interpretation of that great British food staple, the chip sandwhich. The thinking man's terminology if you will. Sometimes referred to as a chip barm. Frowned upon when incorrectly localised to a chip cake, roll, bun, bap etc.
Jasmine went into the chippy and asked for a chip bread cake. A what? Said the proprietor? You mean a chip muffin you div. now get out and don't come back until you can speak English.

Right of chip

It’s an unwritten law that when eating out you have the right to 1-3 chips (fries) from anyone’s plate within arms reach that receives their meal before you. Provided their meal contains chips (fries).
Them: “Hey! They’re my chips (fries)!!!!”

Nibble Chips

The chips remaining, uneaten, at the bottom of the bowl. Often still good for use as salad topping or for nibbling.
I was looking forward to some chips with dip but all that was left in the bag was nibble chips.
