Panel Walking

1. When a character in a comic strip or cartoon is walking on either the sides or top of the panel like that side has its natural gravity.
2. When a character in a comic strip either goes out of the current panel, so you just see an empty box with some lovely scenery.

1. Tony: Josh, did you see the 'Pearls-Before-Swine' comic strip a couple days ago? He was completely upside down.
Josh: Yeah, he was panel walking all right.

2. I hate it in some comic strips where the character goes panel walking and completely disappears to maul this other guy. I want to see that happen.

Pedestrians who, after you graciously allow them to walk in front of your car, SLOWLY inch across the street like Royalty strolling through the park, completely disregarding the notion that you might have shit to do and places to go.

I should have run down those oblivious slug walkers right in the street.

The term was coined based on the fact butt walkers walk as though they either want to be in your butt, or have you in their butt, and walk trying to catch you, or themselves, in it.

Yo, this dude keeps zig-zagging and changing his speed while walking in front of me... total butt walking.
