Any boss, director, supervisor, or authority figure who attempts to exert direction in a place of business from their home. Also known as, "working from home". This can be done from a number of places including a park, post office, bookstore, or their own home from a blackberry, laptop, or computer. This person usually has no idea how the real world functions and has consultants guiding them through every word of their direction.

When you have affectionate/romantic feelings for your boss, but company policy doesn't allow dating between management and employees, so one has to put their feelings aside for the sake of professionalism. Used in the same manner as 'friend-zone', or 'bro-zone'.
Employee 1: Hey why don't you and John date?
Employee 2: Company policy doesn't allow. I've got to boss-zone him.
Employee 1: Hey I think you and Employee 2 have a shot. Why not go out with them?
Boss: I can't. I got boss-zoned.

A woman who is perpetually single and will never be able to find a husband because she thinks she runs the show. She can't keep a dude because no dude wants to deal with her constant anger outbursts and her always thinking she is a boss when in reality she is just an angry woman who works a plain job. Boss Chicks are a product of the laws created by men that give women equality when in reality if those laws didn't exist then all you would have to do is slap a "Boss Chick" upside her dumb head and she would shrink into the scared little girl that she actually is.
Boss Chick: I'm a Boss Chick!
Dude: How many kids you have?
Boss Chick: Six
Dude: How many baby daddy?
Boss Chick: Six
Dude: How many times you been married?
Boss Chick: None
Dude: I just remembered I need to go home to watch the paint dry.

An unfortunate cubicle configuration in which you find yourself sandwiched in between two of your bosses.
I can't even check my GMail account at work because I'm in a total boss sandwich
I'm such a sad panda at work these days. I'm totally the lunch meat in a major boss sandwich.

This is considered a mix of both formal and casual. You say this to someone when you respect them in the sense that you acknowledge they're in charge of the situation.
It can also be defined to the equivalent of the phrase, "Cool guy".
