Generic code word used on an established agreement- frequent uses are safe words or military “pro words,” also used between newly romantic partners when the normal terms of endearment don’t quite yet make sense. An acknowledgement between new couples they miss each other, or want to tell them how they feel about each other without using normal words.

A partner has been out of town and wants to express they miss the other in a single word. “Pineapple”
