Wet can be used to describe something that is hot, amazing, fresh or cool. Usually to add emphasis on something that is well liked or appreciated.

Guy1: Damn, that shirt is pretty wet!

Guy2: I know, I got it from target.

Example 2:
Guy: Damn, you’re looking wet today!

Girl: Excuse me what did you just say?!

Guy: It means you look fine!
Girl: Just because I took a shower earlier doesn’t mean you have to comment on it. Besides I know that means! 🙄
