Cobra Kai is a Netflix exclusive TV show that takes place 30+ years after 1984-1989 hit “The Karate Kid, and came out in May of 2018. Originally released on YouTube Red, Cobra Kai features Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, William Zabka as The Karate Kid 1984 antagonist Johnny Lawrence, Courtney Henggeler as Amanda LaRusso, Xolo Mariduena as Miguel Diaz, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene, Jacob Bertrand and Eli “Hawk” Moskowitz, Gianni Decenzo as Demetri Alexopolous, Martin Kove as The Karate Kid 1984 antagonist John Kreese, Peyton List as Tory Nichols and Thomas Ian Griffith as The Karate Kid 3(1989) antagonist Terry Silver. All 4 seasons are now streaming on Netflix currently, as season 5 is in post production and is expected to come out Q4 2022, or as early as January 2023.
