Homo-gay Thread Delete. When a person makes a post on an internet forum or social media which makes them look like a complete idiot, then deletes the comments/thread in an attempt to erase any trace of their idiocy. The act of deleting the post is known as a "Homo Gay Thread Delete", and the person doing it is known as a "Homo Gay Thread Deletor". In both instances, HGTD is used accordingly. HGTD'ed is the past tense use of the term "Homo Gay Thread Deleted".
