Weekend Warrior

A snowboarder/skier who wakes up early on the weekend, rides the hill for a full day, and goes home late. Usually sleeping in his/her car to save time and money. And does the same the next day.

Person 1: Are you going to the hill this weekend?
Person 2: You know it, I'm a weekend warrior.

weekend warrior

Teen or young adult who lives a normal life during the week, but goes out on the weekend and rides quads, shoots potato guns, real guns, hangs out in pickup trucks, and otherwise lives it up like a hick on the weekend.

Johnny might seem like a civilized guy most of the time, but he's also a real weekend warrior.

Lost weekend

To waste an entire weekend watching Lost DVDs.

You start Friday evening ... and suddenly it's Sunday evening and it's work or school tomorrow. Where has the weekend gone?

Previously this sort of time jump was only obtainable from an alcoholic source.

Q: Did you do anything nice at the weekend?

A: Nope, I had a Lost weekend. Don't you just love Hurley?

Marathon weekend

A weekend where the only beverage allowed to be consumed is beer or some form of alcohol. Typically starts at around 7-8PM friday night and ends on Sunday afternoon, or night if you're liver can sustain more damage. Extra fun is its a 3 day weekend. Each person typically buys 2 30 racks or possibly 3 if its a 3 day weekend.
