E-mail Shaming

When fifteen thousand people are copied on an email alerting you, and them, of an error you made.

I was the recipient of e-mail shaming today at work. While I was out sick this week a new hire was approved in our internal system with an incorrect start date. They HR administrator emailed me and the rest of the company to let them know of the mistake and asked me to change it. I may get fired.

A service hotmail offers that will filter some useful messages but that will never ever filter a spam.

Cool, I got a huge amount of spams in my mailbox and all the letters my boss sent me are in the trash e-mail folder! Thank you, Microsoft.

1) The phrase that AOL says whenever you get new mail in a very annoying and high-pitched voice.

Considering how many weight loss ads are seen on AOL, they should change the saying to "you got mass".

D-mail

Short for Desk Mail

When you write something on a desk for someone else to read later. Could be intentionally, for example writing a message to someone who sits in the same desk later in the day or unintentional, for example having someone forget to erase the answers for the test that they wrote on the desk or writing random crap on the desk.

Beanerous Brokus I: Holy crap I forgot to tell them I'm not going today. I'll just send em a d-mail

or

Beanerous Brokus I: Thank god I received that D-mail, I nearly failed the test.

or
