One who performs in the theatrical department of their local high school/ college who partakes in activities such as wearing corsets for no reason, dating unattractive men from their father's generation, being borderline bisexual, and a character in renaissance fairs, and wearing renaissance fair type clothing on a day to day basis. Pail white, and unattractively overweight, we all know a thespian.

That thespian from the drama club brought her 50year old boyfriend from Rocky Horror to school again.

Someone who has the tendency to act like a turtle, especially in public. They are particularly noted for their ability to take many items and treat it as their shell.

The name is a new pronunciation of joining the words "the" and "spine" together. It is meant sarcastically, as the vast majority of turtle species do not have a spine
