Actually most of these definitions are written by ignorant people, who shouldn't be giving "definitions" to others.

Choosing to remain uninformed because the marginal cost of obtaining the information is higher than the marginal benefit of knowing it.

Commonly practiced by hicks that don't wish to change their point of views about ANYTHING.

"All dem blackies wanna do is steal turnips outta mah garden!"

"Those Muslims and Hin-don'ts are the devil!"

"Men are pigs!"

Generational Ignorance

An act or saying that may be socially acceptable in the past. Brought up years later to undermine or affiliate one in a negative or insensitive way. With apologetic awareness, a higher EQ is displayed.

Ignorance

Forming an "opinion" on a subject for which one knows absolutely nothing about and voicing that opinion, thus showing lack of knowledge or ambition to becoming remotely intelligent on the subject mattter.

Ignorance is choosing to do something just because someone told you that you need to, or that you should without doing the research for yourself to make an educated and informed decision.

Comeback From Ignorance

An occurance that takes place when two or more people are arguing. One person insults another using an allusion, the person whom the insult was directed at is unfamiliar with the allusion, her/she then uses his/her ignorance of the thing being alluded to as (the basis of) a comeback.

Person 1: "What the hell is wrong with you!?! is your frontal lobe disconnected!?!"
Person 2: "What the fuck are you talking about? your fucking stupid!"

Person 1: goddamn your biggoted! are you related to Archie Bunker?
Person 2: Who the hell is Archie bunker, is he your Mastabatory Fantasy?

-Person 2 has used a Comeback from ignorance in both examples
