British Shorthair

A fluffy species of cat hailing from the UK (hence the name), they are also known as the British Blue because of their blueish gray fur. There are two very famous British Shorthair cats in pop culture. The first being Church, the cat from the 1989 horror movie Pet Sematary. The second being the British Shorthair used in the "I Can Haz Cheezburger" picture that kickstarted the LOLCat phenomenon

showtek

Showtek is a Dutch electronic music duo formed by brothers Sjoerd and Wouter Janssen. From 2003 to 2012 they were involved in the hardstyle scene, making two albums - Today is Tomorrow (2007) and Analogue Players in a Digital World (2009) - and headlining major hardstyle events such as Defqon1. Nowadays they concentrate on making house/EDM tracks like "Bad" (with David Guetta) and "Booyah".

Guy 1: "Hey, d'ya hear that new Showtek track that came out yesterday?"

Guy 2: "Yeah, it's pretty cool. Still miss their hardstyle days though."

Guy 1: "Mmm."

Shoethrower

A word used in the drum and bass community to describe a dnb tune that usually makes you uncontrollable at the "drop". usually resulting in you throwing your trainer at the DJ.

Its intention is of well meaning. To receive a thrown shoe in the dnb scene is considered a speciality.
