A 'rangfarl' is that annoying tip of a stool that you are trying to expel from your anus that refuses to come out or which teases you by seeming to pop out only to suck back into the depths of your bowels.

Generally used by surfers and skaters, the term 'rangfarl' evolved from hangnarl, or a gnarly hanger... and then a ranger.. and so forth.
