Dan's side of the fandom tends to have more "internet drama" (Arguments over pointless things and blowing teeny-tiny comments out of proportion) while Phil's tends to be more sweet and innocent. Both sides have their own respective animal, Dan liking llamas and Phil liking lions. Dan also likes placentas and Delia Smith (For some reason) and Phil's fans draw him naked even though he's the innocent one but it makes sense.

It has a very original and unique plot, yet a bit complex to explain as well. Essentially, it is about a supposed 'fictional' dimension called the "Abyss" where criminals are sent to endure punishment for unspeakable crimes. It was a story told to kids to keep them from misbehaving, yet this fifteen year old boy gets sent there for an unexplained reason. He escapes with some help and ends up ten years in the future. Once in the future he is recruited by an organization called Pandora to help them to discover what the Abyss actually is.
