mepoliorexia

me(with), poly(many), orexia(hunger) - it is the inate fear that an individual is often not getting enough food, or that the individual feels skinny and feel the need to eat alot. Often individuals are obese but it can occur in people with a normal BMI or who have low fat percentages or high. It is a brother disorder to BED(binge eating diorder) and can occur after hearing news about not eating enough of a certain food type or feeling you need to gain weight.It also appears in people who were judged for being too skinny.

Sally has mepoliorexia so feels the need to eat food even if she is not hungry because she fears beig too skinny.
