When a person of the opposite sex becomes an arrogant jerk in order to hide their true feelings towards you once they discover you also like like them. Most likely to happen between two really good friends and is usually a guy who is koof doggin.

Girl "Hey, so I like you more than a friend."
Boy "I like you too but I'm going to bone a bunch of girls before I actually show my true feelings for you."
