UK and Commonwealth musicians' jargon for a stand partner. Two players in an orchestra or other large ensemble who share a single music stand (also called a music desk in British English) and play from the same part are called deskies or desk partners or stand partners.

Always bring your own pencil to rehearsal. Don't count on your deskie having one.

The lesbian form of duking it out, in which two female sexual rivals have sex in a contest of stamina and determination. The term was coined by popular burrowing nocturnal mammal Lord Aardvark in April of 2018.

Ordy said something about a friendly and overt sexual rivalry between two of the characters, it ended up with them dyking it out.
