A serious question that was asked in 2004, now a meme.

Downloading more RAM is impossible since it's an hardware.

A fake prank website with the same name propose the user 3 choices of RAM to download, all are free. When the user clicks one, a "Downloading Ram" bar will appear and slowly progress, when done, a popup will appear that you have downloaded more ram. In reality, your ram is still the same.

Newbie : Where can i download more RAM ? I need it to play the newest games

Download Anxiety

2: The fear of a download failing, especially for very large downloads. In this case, anxiety increases the closer a download is to completion.

Symptoms of download anxiety include: Uncontrollable monitoring of the download; Refraining from doing anything else on the computer for fear of interrupting the download; Inability to concentrate on anything not related to downloading; and other more general anxiety symptoms.

1: My class finished at 6:30, but I was trying to download Rocky Balboa. It was real download anxiety time.

2: Person 1) My movie was almost finished downloading, and I couldn't keep my eyes off the progress bar. My heart was racing at a mile a minute.
Person 2) Sounds like you had some serious download anxiety.

TV Download Addiction

Also known as TDA, TV Download Addiction is when someone downloads vast amounts of one or several TV show episodes or seasons and becomes addicted to watching episodes in great periods of time. This is due to the ability to watch multiple, consecutive shows without commercials or days in between.

"Hey dude I haven't Tommy in a few days. Where's he been?"

"Oh you haven't heard? He's has TV Download Addiction. He caught TDA after he download all the seasons of Dexter so he won't be hanging out for a while."

Down Low Lurker

A man on the DL who lurks around public restrooms, parks, truck stops, porn stores, the locker room and shower at the gym, etc. looking for some random stranger(s) to have sex with.

I hate going to the gym on Thursdays after work. There’s this creepy DL Lurker who always seems to be hanging around in the shower or wandering the locker room in a towel.

I swear to God, her boyfriend is a down low lurker. I see him hanging around by the library bathroom three nights a week.
