Term used mainly in South Jersey (that's the southern portion of the state of New Jersey) and the Philadelphia area. It is equivalent to the more mainstream term "bro", and can also be seen as an alternative spelling. However, because the of inherently trashy culture of the South Jersey-Philadelphia area, the term may be used differently than "bro".
