artword

A previously non-existent word used by a simpleton with poor command of the English language in an attempt to impress. Typically followed by a bogus definition provided by the simpleton in an attempt to legitimize the artword.

Art said that Carl has liberal "underleanings". A search of Websters and a google search turned up no references to the word "underleanings" leading one to believe that it was just another artword. Art's subsequent bogus definition (see artdefinition) confirmed it.

Horrorshow Artwork

Dark, abstract, narcotic inspired artwork by Geordie artist and graphic designer Malcolm White. Dating from 2007 onwards. The name Horrorshow Artwork was derived from the Nadsat word horrorshow (meaning good) used often in Anothony Burgess' Novel 'A Clockwork Orange'.

Literally the most talented animator youtuber, with her work, especially her project “ bunny witch” started to get a lot of attention in 2020 and at the time of typing this, has over 450K youtube subscribers and a large following on her other social media as well. She is an absolute goddess.

An adjective used to describe indie/artsy kids. A cool label for art nerds.

So yesterday I went to Little Five Points with some artcore kids and we spent the whole night stenciling and listening to vinyls.

A shitty non-genre of music that kids your roommates sister brings over use to describe the music they like or play when they're trying to sound intelligent, cultured and like they appreciate the dichotomy of music, when in reality, they listen to Oceana.

Dumbass: I can't tell you the name of my band, because we're going to be a big deal, and we want to keep it under wraps. But we play Post-Artcore. We're influenced by... (Starts to name-drop a bunch of shitty bands), So you know, it's awesome.

The antonym of "hardcore" in the context of gaming. To play a game on an easy difficulty just out of appreciation of the story, art, music, etc.

Johnny's such an artcore gamer - all he ever cares about is the music in old 8-bit games.
