Wingdings

Wingdings is used as a word when writing something that you don’t want the reader to know in order to be mysterious. Maybe it’s also just the translators fault but who knows...

Wingdings is used when the author doesn’t want the protagonist/reader to know something but wants them to know that he/she doesn’t know something. E.g. :

Shadow Monarch: Why have you chosen to betray me?
Baran: Wingdings

Wingdinger means "sweet!" It's Irish of origin, referring to fairies that flew around with bells and were indentified with good luck. It is widely thought the wingdingers were the inspiration for Disney's Tinkerbell.

Wingdings is also a type of bizarre font used in Microsoft Word for PC. Lets hope that this name remains and resists politically-correct people who whine and bitch about how the word is really a racist slur.
