Based off Conan Gray's "Heather" song. The 3rd of December is supposedly when someone you liked/like gave/gives you a sweater. (from the lyrics: I still remember, 3rd of December, me in your sweater, you said it looked better than me than it did you, only if you knew, how much I liked you.)

3rd of of December seems like an average day - but it's more than that. Gone viral for the "Heather" song by Conan Gray, (amazing singer with good humor btw) specifically drawn out by the lines "you gave her your sweater, it's just polyester"
The song spread all around every platform, and each year on December the 3rd people celebrate the day.

It also represents just how wonderful they are and that you feel your life has been made better by them. They are "your Heather."
