Tofik (also spelled tawfik, taofiq, taufiq, taofeeq, tewfik, taoufic, taofeek) is derived from arabic and means "successful, prosperous or fortunate". It's associated with the ability to prosper, achieve success or being fortunate in everyday life. While this is true, Taofiks do have their own sizable shares of ups and down. This is why a Taofik is good in cheering people up despite his own unhappiness which he hides well.
E.g. You see that dude, he's tofiking that girl despite his own troubles.
Also, a tofik is a closet satyromaniac and a heart breaker. Ladies never leave him but he leaves ladies.
