A fashihion look that begun in 1969. in England, describing the look of the working class.

Short hair is easy to wash, jeans are firm, don't rip easily and wash up easily, boots with caps keep feet safe. Later, laces come in with skins coming to football games (different colour of the laces showed which club they supported).

In the '70. , the look and movement was hijacked by Brittish Nationalist Front, so today we have youth who harvested some sick ideas (nazi and white supremacy ideas).

Today there are more "kinds" of skins: the traditional (working-class), the boneheads (nazi & WP), S.H.A.R.P.s (anti-nazi league), gay skinhead scene...

In it's soul, skinhead movement started as a non-political fashion style of working class youth in England who listened to ska & reagge (later punk & oi!) and drove scooters.

chaostic skinheads

It is a branch off of the RASH or GASH ( Russian or German Anarchist Skin Heads) except the idea of anarchy is absolutely contradictory in itself a group of UNITED anarchist is defeating the entire purpose, but there is one solution Chaos. It is a group who believes in one common thing and are willing to do the necessary things to get it done. In the Chaostic Skin regime the common thing is a sever hatred of the ignorance of the lower class and the loathing towards any gang related black people, there are of course respectable black people but it is the "gansta" type that we are out to solve. we are peace makers and we are base off the principal of Oi!. we are not out to hurt any body we are simply doing what the government refuses to do.

a movement that started in 1969 in london, when hard mods start to shve their heads, then whn the punk was dead in 1977 the oi! was born, it was the first time skinheads had their own music. skinhead are apolitical in their roots, but some skinheads actually have political inclinations, such as anarchy, communism, socialism...But there are also some people who say they are skinheads and beleive in nazism, they are called boneheads

black skinhead

A black who doesnt like most modern general African american culture. Can be slightly racist towards american blacks. Alot of modern day black celebrities couls qualifie to be labled as black skinheads, most obvious of which would be Tyler,the creator (he is a non-racist). Kanye West also has a song about black skinheads, named Blkkk Skkkn-head, which points out a few black skinhead-type things.

Skinhead

Skinhead is a subculture that started with the arrival of Jamaican immigrants to working-class neighborhoods in England in the late 1960s. White working-class kids loved the lively reggae music brought by the Jamaican kids. They often shaved their heads and dressed in their working-class style of bluejeans, doc marten boots, and braces (thin suspenders) They enjoyed going to reggae gigs with the black Jamaican kids and skanked together to the reggae music.

There was and still is no racism involved. Skinheads got their name because of their shaved heads. They were originally also called lemonheads, eggheads, suedeheads, and other names. However, skinhead ultimately stuck. Not to be confused with "boneheads" who dress similar but unlike skinheads, boneheads are racist neonazis that are not welcomed in the skinhead community.

Skinheads of all colors and races love reggae and oi! music.
