pimp-whore relationship theory

the pimp-whore relationship theory is a highly debated theory in relationship dynamics stating that if you (the guy) treat a girl as though she is your bitch and you are her pimp, she will become susceptatble and complacent towards you and the oppisiste to all other men, thus making it easy for you to pick her up and hard for anyone else. The theory is highly debatable because about half the tests performed to test this theory have worked and about half have not.

Relationship chicken

When two people are together and they both know the relationship has no future, but both refuse to take the step and end it. The situation might entail "upping the ante" to make the other one end it, such as suggesting marriage or kids. Another tactic in this game could be intentionally provoking each other.
