Noun. Ethnic group indigenous to historic Sikkim and Darjeeling and parts of Bhutan. Phenotypically closer to East Asian people and can easily pass as Mongolic -Turkic peoples, Siberian people. They also share physical features with Koreans and Japanese and Northern Chinese people and are mistaken as such ethnicity in origin. Due to affinity with Tibetan migrants and Kiranti ethnographic peoples. They are also mistaken for Tibetan or Kiranti. Lepchas have assimilated to a greater degree to dominant immigrant groups that they see their race/ethnicity/culture be erased rather than man woman up and save their unique culture be eroded by their haters. To haters they'd sell their soul but to their own they'd rather see them banish to the afterlife.
Lepchas are known to be gullible of low intelligence and a hot mess. To get rid of this stereotype hardly any Lepcha has done anything rather than feed into this and self hate and racism is evident if you ever meet one. Women hate Lepcha men and think of them as effeminate or brotherly and men are stupid to think nothing
