Tull (Jethro)

A prog-rock band formed in the late 60's that had huge hits in the 70's, won a heavy metal grammy in the 80's, and still rocks and tours in the new millenium. Always known for complicated lyrics, rhythms and time signatures. Jethro Tull has mellowed over the years, but they still pluck a mean mandolin. Fronted by Ian Anderson and Martin Barre. Unfortunately this important group has been totally ignored by the brown-nosing hacks at the lame-ass "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame".

Someone who alternates between normal and redneck-speak, depending on the situation and usually when intoxicated.

Someone who can summon their inner-hillbilly in response to a situation, but isn't actually a hillbilly.

When I get drunk, I start to talk with a southern accent, but I'm originally from the North. It's like I'm a Jethromancer or something!

jethro tull

Progressive rock band that started in 1968 and is still recording today. Founded by frontman Ian Anderson (and last remaining original member), they are truely the best goddamned band EVER.

Famous for songs like "Aqualung", "Teacher", "Cross-eyed Mary" and albums like "Thick as a Brick".

Jethro tull is the greatest band to ever exist.
Ian Anderson: "The flute is a heavy metal instrument!"
