a slang saying that got popularised when Linus of Linus Tech Tips YouTube Channel did a LInux challenge, where the team tried to use Desktop Linux as their operating system, the first video was released in November 2021, in which Linus chose PopOS operating system, and there was a bug in the software center at that particular time, due to which 'steam' (the gaming software) had some conflicts with the desktop environment, due to which the installation was not being done through software center. Searching on internet, Linus resorted to command-line way, and the program warned that it may potentially damage the system, and to do proceed only if the user knows what they are doing. Linus, without reading anything, typed in the prompt which required to enter "Do as I say" to proceed, leading to the monitor going black and the system crashing.
The software: Removing your bootloader may make your system unbootable. Do you know what you are doing?

Get the Do as I say mug.Saying: "***DISCLAIMER***: i did not actually bad thing This was a form of comedic expression where I say something outrageous that I actually didn't do, but say I did." Is a form of comedic expression where I say something outrageous that I actually didn't do, but say I did, then put a disclaimer confirming that the outrageous thing I said I did was a joke, even if it was obvious it was a joke without the disclaimer
Person 1: I fucked my mom ***DISCLAIMER***: i did not actually bad thing This was a form of comedic expression where I say something outrageous that I actually didn't do, but say I did.

Get the can i say fuc mug.The catchphrase of boomers in particular, possibly coming from the movie "Stripes" is a phrase that fuels their narccisim and the outcome being they wonder why their kids and grand kids go No Contact and abandon them or throw them into homes and abandon them.
The idea is you are supposed to question an order not act in blind subordenation. They just say "JUMP!" being confused you ask "How high and why?"
Boomers comically use the phrase "If your friend jumps off a bridge would you follow?" fueling more of their hypocisy.
