A man who has two last names. This is usually because he's a beta male simp who took his wife's last name in addition to his own.

Jeff: Did you hear that Michael added his wife's last name to his own?
Jake: Yeah? I'm not surprised that simp became a hyphenate.

Hyphenated Black American

A person belonging to one of the three historic and culturally continuous subgroups within the Black American collective, each marked by a distinct heritage that diverges from the broader Black American culture: Black Louisiana Creoles, Gullah Geechee, and Northeast slave descendants.

There’s something especially exciting about the fact that all hyphenated Black Americans like Black Louisiana Creoles, Gullah Geechee, and Northeast slave descendants have their own distinct cuisine and language.
